Wow, such a good massage!! My favorite spot, Beau on Grand, closed during the pandemic so was in search of a new spot. I found out about Crown Thai Massage via a recommendation in NextDoor, and they did not disappoint! Wasn't sure what to get, so booked a Thai/Swedish combo with the first-time discount. It was perfect, great pressure, very relaxing, and well worth the price. Excited to have them in the neighborhood, and will be back soon!

Honestly the best massage I've ever had. My initial impression was good as the space feels very clean and professional, but the massage itself absolutely blew me away. My massage therapist, Elly, did a fantastic job. The level of expertise and professionalism was remarkable. I also love how easy it was to book online. I just recently found this gem if a place in Montclair Village and I am so glad I did. The place is spotless and inviting and the website makes it easy to make appointments. I've seen Elly twice and she is amazing. First time clients have a 15% discount. Do yourself a favor and book a massage today.

My best friend and I just discovered this place. We each had 85 min massages. Both of our massages were wonderful! Highly recommend. I had Joe she had Tina. I've tried lots of Thai massage and this is the one to keep coming back to!

My best friend was visiting from LA and was looking for us to get a Thai massage. She found this place even though it's in my neighbourhood! I am a long time Thai Massage lover and I've got to say this place is fantastic, super convenient and Tina gave me the most incredible therapeutic massage. I can't wait to go back.

Highly recommend Elly. Rendered massage reflected understanding of anatomy, confidence in technique & recognition of areas that required more attention. To my greatest delight she understood how to go deep into the tissues without causing undue pain by using more broad based pressure rather than irritating "sore" tense tissues with excess frictional type rubbing.

I almost hate letting you all know how stellar this place is! Seriously one of the best massages and ambiance's you will find in the Oakland area! They are delightful human beings who know their stuff!!! This is no fly by night massage place. This is a seriously body healing sacred experience!

Joe was accommodating to same day schedule. Had good technique and anatomical knowledge. attentive to finding and releasing many of my upper back and shoulder trigger points. Good pressure. Was in stiff pain from the trigger point tension before massage, much more mobile and relieved after. Late yelp post!

I'm am so so happy that I found Crown Thai Massage!! I've been there three times in the last month. My first two massages were with Joe and they were great. The space is well maintained, clean and inviting. I decided to try the Gua Sha 30 minute face massage with Patricia and I have to say- I'm hooked! I could see the change in my face immediately, tighter/ firmer jawline and my skin was glowing. I can't wait to go back for the 85 minute face and body lymphatic massage. This place is a gem, the staff is amazing and my body truly feels the benefits. I highly recommend Crown Thai massage.

I just had THE best massage I've ever had and I've had many. Tina (or Gina?) was fabulous. I've been carrying knots of tension going back a few years so she had a lot of work to do. The trigger point release, the stretches, the thoroughness were very much appreciated. The moist/hot towel on my back with a bit more work were a welcome surprise. I can't wait until my next appointment.

Had an exceptional massage here with Elly. I was about 6 weeks postpartum and she did wonders on my sore and transitioning body. Loved how she incorporated hot stones as well. Excellent pressure, I left feeling transformed! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, making an appointment online was a breeze, and the space was relaxing and clean.

Elly is the best! She knows exactly what is giving me trouble and works out the kinks. Always feel great after her massage.

Highly recommend Leena at Crown Thai Massage. I've seen her twice now for deep tissue and she works magic. If you are looking to work out some knots and tightness she is your goal.

This is a great spot in Montclair for Thai-inspired body massage. I've had several massages with different therapists at Crown Thai this summer and each time has been a great experience. All massage therapists are well versed in Thai techniques and they will design a unique session based on your input. There's a big menu of massage offerings - somehow each one I've tried seems to be the best one yet! With stretching and myofascial release, followed by massage of choice, the therapist always manages to find and relax my tight spots, often without me realizing that I had any tightness.

Crown Thai Massage just started two-hour massages (1 hr 55 mins) which for me is the optimum duration. The place is clean and bright and the staff are friendly, caring and superb at getting the knots out. Not on the cheap end, but well worth the price. There's also 15% off the first massage for new clients. There's also a cup of hot tea when your massage is over, or cold water if you prefer.

One word . Bliss. I had a 55-minute-deep tissue massage with Samanta today. I have not had a massage in a while due to the expense. The massage today was worth every penny. She could feel the tightness in my neck and shoulders and paid special attention to that area.

Easy to schedule on-line. It is serene, comfortable and clean environment. I will schedule regular massages with her in the future. It was the best massage I have ever received.

I have had 2 massages from Crown Thai, both which were amazing. Yesterday I saw Patricia who did a Gua Sha/Thai combo and it was INCREDIBLE! The face massage was so good and my skin is glowing today! Would definitely recommend!

Amazing massage, kind staff, very welcoming experience. I've been a few times and had different services - lymphatic drainage, hot stone, traditional Thai - all have been excellent! Masseuses are communicative, always making sure things are ok and willing to adjust accordingly. Great location, too. Street parking nearby is usually pretty easy to find.

I had a great experience today at Crown Thai Massage. I came in because I was having back and neck pain and I was easily able to book an appointment on the website. I called in advance to ensure my therapist would wear a mask and Joe happily let me know he wears a mask for all seasons. His hands were strong and provided the perfect firm pressure. I have had hundreds of massages but this was my first experience with a Thai massage. I feel like he payed attention to all of my aches and pains and the reflexology on my feet was heavenly. At the end of our session he sprayed a hot towel with bergamot aroma and performed traction on my neck. I was so relaxed, it was hard to leave the table. I immediately want to book again. I highly recommend Crown Thai massage and can't wait to try the other offerings they have!

Somehow just stumbled upon this place in Montclair Village and wow it's definitely my new massage go-to!! I did an hour Thai + deep tissue with Layla and it was so amazing. Easy to book online too. Can't recommend enough!

I had my second visit at Crown Thai Massage and Layla doesn't disappoint. She continuously checks in and touches on your focus areas with care and attention. I hadn't experienced a thai massage before and I have to admit I'm hooked. I've been getting the Thai Massage + Deep Tissue combo and it has given this chronic pain body some relief. What I also appreciate is that I'm not sore the next day or thereafter I feel a sense in places that have felt tight and sore. So if you're in the fence I highly recommend you giving them a try...Parking is too difficult and the service and venue is clean and peaceful...it's not pretentious it's comfy and welcoming space...matter fact let me go rebook for my next service

This place does everything perfectly! I had my third Thai Combination massage from Crown Thai today. I have had Thai massage for years. The person I have been with each time at Crown Thai is amazing. Deep, goes where massage is needed. Absolutely fantastic Thai massage. I need very deep pressure and don't even need to ask for it when I'm here. It just happens. I'm so happy they have come to Montclair. I used to drive into SFO for Thai massage. The rooms are spotless, with a simplistic elegance to each. They still wear masks, which I appreciate! The place is brand new and there is a smart, simple elegance to the design of both reception and massage rooms. The massage beds are extremely comfortable; sheets are soft. Hot towels are used during and after massages. I LOVE that! Each time I call, the reception remembers who I am, and remembers what I had before and with whom. Everyone is very friendly. It's right here in Montclair, and they have designated parking spots. It's a lovely, quiet place. I love all the different Thai massages they offer; many are new to me (even though I've been getting Thai massage for years other places don't have the Thai massage variety) and I can't wait to try all of them. This place gets everything right. And their hours are hospitable to people that need massage after 5:00 pm, and on weekends.

I'd like to start off by saying that I used to work for a Thai massage parlor as a receptionist, while in college - so I know the kind of price, massage, and service that is considered extremely good quality; I cannot express how much this place surpassed my expectations. It is extremely clean everywhere, the receptionist poured water for me, the masseuse played soothing music and I laid on a body-shaped massage table for my hot herbal massage and deep tissue (85 min, 30 mins hot herbal, 55 mins deep tissue). I did not catch the masseuse's name, but she found knots in my back that have hurt since I was a child due to my scoliosis. The price was great for the area, but parking was hard to find, though I do recommend parking at Safeway just down the block (>1 min walk). I will happily be coming back, and this business has a 5-star review for a reason!

That was a great massage. It far exceeded my expectations! I wasn’t sure that I could really benefit from massage at my age without all my problems. Tina did a fantastic job of seeing and feeling what I needed.

I got the Thai Jade Gua Sha massage (lymphatic drainage massage) Face and neck by Patricia.

It was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. I came in with tight shoulders and upper back...now that was taxing, but it was well needed.

The Gua Sha portion on my face was soothing and light.

I ended up going home and messing up my sleep because I knocked out about 45 mins when I got home around 7pm and now I'm writing a review at 2am because reasons...

The place itself was very clean and welcoming, parking is a bit tough though because it is Montclair.
